On Print:  "GERANIUM Geraniums (Pelargonium) are among the most widlely grown flowering pot plants in the world.  "The best strains for indoor gardens are varieties of P. hortorum, which vary from 3 inches to 3 feet in height and bear flower clusters up to 4 inches across in red, white, pin, or lavender; most bloom from late winter thru the following fall.  Does best in full sunlight, at least 4 hours daily.  Cool night temperatures aid flowering.  Plant prefers soil rich in clay content (2 parts clay to 1 of sand and humus).  Let soil dry out between waterings.  Overwatering causes leaves to turn yellow.  Fertilize every 2 weeks, March to October, monthly rest of the year.  Propogate from stem cuttings any time.  Natural habitat:  semiarid regions of southern Africa.  BLOSSOM COLORS  SEED  LEAVES"
